Tyler Siefke
Head Coach - Weightlifting
Tyler brings a wealth of coaching experience to Pittsburgh Barbell Club. Tyler has successfully coached weightlifting athletes ranging from brand new beginners to experienced national competitors.
Tyler also specializes in working with youth athletes on strength and conditioning performance.
Tyler is a graduate of Mount Union University where he lettered in football and wrestling.

Aimee Rice
Partner
Aimee has been has been a member of Pittsburgh Barbell since 2014 and and an owner since 2023.
Aimee has competed at national and international level and holds several masters American Records. She is the happiest when the gym is full of people enjoying weightlifting and the jerks blocks are well organized.

Mike Nackoul

Mike practically grew up at Pittsburgh Barbell Club learning weightlifting starting as a kid. Mike joined the ownership team in 2023.
Mike is passionate about growing opportunities for youth athletes to learn weightlifting and build strength to excel in other sports.

Jeremy Tissenbaum

Jeremy has been a part of Pittsburgh Barbell Club since childhood and joined the ownership team in 2023.
Jeremy played collegiate lacrosse and has competed nationally in weightlifting. Jeremy sees Pittsburgh Barbell as a place for friends and families to work hard and get strong together.

Arlene Warywoda
Partner
Arlene has tremendous experience competing in and coaching both CrossFit and Weightlifting. Arlene joined the ownership team in 2023.
In addition to helping athletes learn weightlifting and achieve fitness goals, Arlene is also a nutrition specialist.

Mateo Villa

Mateo found weightlifting a little too late in life to be good, but as he would say “never too late to love it”.
Mateo joined the ownership team at Pittsburgh Barbell in 2025, and relishes the opportunity to help build a community of people who love weightlifting.
